May 21, 2025 — In a celebration of unity, commitment, and shared vision, the Task Force Balik-Loob (TFBL) commemorated its 7th Founding Anniversary with the theme “Pagkakaisa at Pag-asa: Pitong Taong Pagdiriwang sa Pagbuo ng Isang Matatag, Payapa at Nagkakaisang Bansa tungo sa Bagong Pilipinas” feauturing an Awarding Ceremony for Exceptional E-CLIP Implementers, Partner Agencies, and People’s Organizations held at the Tejeros Hall, Armed Forces of the Philippines Commissioned Officers Clubhouse (AFPCOC).
Since its inception in 2018, TFBL has played a vital role in the successful implementation of the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP), benefiting thousands of former members of the communist terrorist group and local terrorist groups who have voluntarily returned to the fold of the law.
Undersecretary for Defense Affairs and TFBL Chairperson, Usec. De Leon, emphasized the critical role of continuous innovation and stakeholder convergence in ensuring the long-term success of reintegration initiatives. “May this anniversary inspire us to further strengthen our collaboration and resolve for the cause of national unity and peaceful reintegration,” Usec De Leon stated in his opening message.
The event was distinguished by the presence of the Provincial Governors whose leadership has been instrumental in localizing the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program
(E-CLIP). Their attendance underscored the importance of strong local governance in achieving national peace objectives.
The event was highlighted by the presentation of awards and recognition to agencies, E-CLIP Implementers and People’s Organization that demonstrated exemplary performance in the implementation of the E-CLIP.
The event also reaffirms the TFBL’s ongoing mission to institutionalize peace-building efforts and ensure that Former Rebels and Former Violent Extremists are given the opportunity to live dignified and productive lives as part of the nation’s inclusive growth.
What began as bold vision has now become a beacon of opportunity and progress. Over the past seven years, TFBL has expanded its reach and enhanced its services.
